All Applicants Must Have the Following Qualifications:
Can work 5 to 8 hour shifts
Be available evenings and weekends
Reliable transportation to and from work
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills, including verbal communication in person and on the phone (all of our jobs require talking to strangers and large groups of adults and children)
Ability to complete tasks with little or no supervision

Studio Assistant (Part-Time):
Primary Responsibilities:
Must be at least 17 years of age
Art experience is ideal, but not required
Greet and interact with customers and inspire, guide, and teach our customers about the projects we offer
Unpack shipments and update inventory
Glaze, load and unload the kiln, wrap orders, and text customers for pick-up
Open and close the studio
Cash out customers using our point of sale system, run credit cards, and answer phones
Assist/lead camps, birthday parties, and classes
Mop, dust, take out the trash, and clean tables, chairs, bathrooms, etc.
Studio Manager (Part-Time):
We’re looking for an administrative-minded professional to work with management and help with our day-to-day needs. This is a part-time position, and is perfect for anyone who is a fast learner, natural problem solver, and who is tech savvy.
Primary Responsibilities:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Some art experience is strongly preferred
Manage and replenish inventory and studio supplies
Communicate with the rest of the studio team and manage scheduling
Place calls, return voicemails, contact customers and suppliers
Develop business, and create events to grow the studio, including social media based engagement
Schedule (but not always run) parties, events, and classes
Pottery Wheel Instructor (Part-Time evenings and weekends)
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and teach try-it-once and multi pottery wheel classes
Manage the drying process of pots made by customer
Hand-build forms and use a slab roller
Load and unload electric kilns for bisque- and glaze-firings
Mix dry powder glazes and glaze pottery
Maintain a clean and dust-free environment
Multi-task and adjust to changing priorities
Be able to lift 25-50 pounds of clay when receiving inventory
Manage the clay inventory and ordering of necessary supplies and material
Canvas Painting Instructor - (Part-Time evenings and weekends)
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and teach canvas painting classes and parties (acrylic paint) for kids and adults
Prepare for classes by setting up supplies and prepping canvases (transferring images)
Paint sample canvases
Manage inventory and replenish supplies as needed
